English Paper Piecing with Jaydee Price

Come and learn the art of Paper Piecing, a method of basting fabric over paper shapes, then sewing the pieces together to form a larger shape. This method began to be used in the Victorian Era and is still enjoyed today, as precise hand piecing that fits Perfectly! It’s a wonderful Take Along project. Come and play and learn something new!

Materials: All materials will be provided for $5.00 kit fee, which includes precut pieces to make a flower of 7 hexagons.

Bio: Jaydee Price has taught in adult education, quilt shops, and quilt guilds in Southern California. She has been sewing since grade school and was a dressmaker and did alterations for 25 years. She loves hand sewing and hand quilting and how women’s history is part of the thread of quilting.
