Sewn Rice Paper Scarf with Barbara Schroeter

By combining different novelty yarns and ribbons on rice paper , you can create a one-of-a-kind scarf in an afternoon. We’ll complete the layout of the scarf in class; students will need access to a sewing machine to finish the scarf at home.

Materials: $15.00 and bring scissors, 2 ounces of a variety of novelty yarn—lightweight is better than bulky—and at least 4 yards of ribbon. Barbara will bring some novelty yarns from her stash for students to further embellish their scarves.

Class Fee: $20.00
