Magical Beaded Peyote Branch with Kathy Dexter
Learn the remarkably-versatile Peyote stitch and use glass beads of various sizes and colors to create free-form sculptural beading around a driftwood branch. Each student will develop his/her won voice using color and design they develop intuitively under the careful guidance of the teacher.
Students should bring: scissors, good eye glasses for close up work, and any beads you would like to include in the project.
The instructor will provide: beads, needles, thread, and a branch for the project. She will also have beads for sale at the class.

Bio: Kathy Dexter lives and works in Port Townsend, WA. She has been creative in many forms for most of her life, beading for the last ten years. Her work has sold in galleries and shops throughout Washington, and she took Grand Prize at the Puyallup Fair in 2006 for a free-form Peyote sculpture. |
